D-Academy was founded by Dr Ayodeji Dosu, who is currently pratising as a Medical Registrar in the United Kingdom. After being successful in the MRCP(UK) examinations in 2021, he has gone on to teach and mentor various other candidates who have also gone on to become successful in their exams. He has organised PACES teachings as part of his role as the Royal College of Physicians Associate College Tutor during his time as an Internal Medicine Trainee in the United Kingdom. He has also participated in organising mock PACES examinations for candidates preparing for the PACES examination. He has taught on a one-to-basis, screening candidates at the bedside and fine tuning both examination and presenation skills.
During this period, he has built up some experience surounding the PACES examination and realised how daunting and challenging this high-profile, high-standard examination could be, and decided to commit to teaching various candidates in a way he found useful. One key area he realised was a weak spot for candidates he mentored was presenting clinical findings.
